Emittance of secondary beam

Dear Fluka experts,

I’d like to plot the transverse emittance of a secondary beam produced in a target.
ie. a 2D histogram of ‘x’ vs ‘dx/dz’ for a given value of ‘z’ and a given momentum interval.

I could do the binning myself if I can get a list of particle positions and momenta (x, y, z, px, py, pz) from Fluka for all particles crossing a given region boundary. Or perhaps Fluka has something suitable built-in.

However I’m not sure where to look in the Fluka manual. I wonder if somebody could point me in the right direction?

You can achieve that using the mgdraw user routine. You can find plenty of examples just searching “mgdraw” in the forum.
