Hi @dinggz , there is no reason why they should be consistent, what you try to achieve using your approach (RESNUCLEi + USRBIN) will not give you the correlation you try to obtain. As you mention yourself in your attached pdf file, the 2.31 MeV reaction channel is not the only reaction channel. Your USRBIN scoring does not disentangle between the different contributions, also the 2.792 MeV channel will contribute (Couldn’t Fluorine in your BF3 material also produce an secondary alpha particle yield)? Please also have another look at the posts I suggested to make a more elaborate verification of your results, for example using an mgdraw.f routine. You could try to simplify you problem by checking first for a pure Boron target.
