  1. Yes, but you need to keep in mind, if you are using an ISOTOPE source, the decay photons will have the LTRACK equal 2. Furthermore, with ISOTOPE sources you will get the electrons and X-ray photons from the decay as well.
  2. If you have air between the phantom and detector, then you should kill the particles on the outside surface of your detector.
