Dear Vasilis, I use repository to install flair, this makes the installation pretty easy and convenient! It works good so far. The only samall issue is the flair icon I loved disappear after the new vesion installed.
This is from old version:image
This is the new one: 2

Dear @YuniWang2020
thanks for reporting, I moved your question to a new thread under the Flair category.

To help me debug it, could you provide me with the information:

  1. which GUI are you using, gnome, kde, xfce?
  2. which ubuntu version?
It can help to investigate why the icons are not set.

Thanks for your rapid reply.
My linux system is Ubuntu 18.04 and as for GUI, I am not sure.

What’s more, if I install by using RPM files, the icons are good and can use double click to start. Also with a small issue: PIL.Image and Tk not found.

Thanks. I found the problem, in the latest ubuntu version, I was missing a call to the install-mime target of the makefile.
I’ve fixed it and it will be available in the next update of the repo.

Concerning the PIL error message please install the python3-pil.imagetk like
sudo apt install python3-pil.imagtk

It works perfect now! but imagtk should be imagetk
Thanks a lot.
