the meaning of fraction is: fraction of deposited energy going into i^th scintillation photon emission.

i dont know how to calculate fraction of deposited energy going into i^th scintillation photon emission for example when scintillation yield is 900photon/MeV. i study the manual but not understand. thanks
Dear Hajar,
to calculate the fraction for a given yield, you need to multiply the yield (900 photon/MeV in this case) with the energy of the optical photon you want to simulate, then divide it with 1 MeV.
