Significance of peaks in usrtrack

Hello Fluka experts,
In usrtrack scoring, some peaks are observing when I untick both log scales (please see the attached flair file for reference). I wanted to know the significance of these peaks. Please help me. 24112020.flair (1.8 KB)

Dear Pragya,

In your USRTRACK scoring you are requesting an energy resolution of 1 keV.

Using DEFAULTS PRECISIOn, electron step sizes are limited by a maximum fractional energy loss along the step of 20% (cross-check in the manual). For your 1-MeV electrons this would correspond to 200 keV. Your desired energy resolution (1 keV) is much finer than this.

You can reduce the maximum fractional energy loss along the step on a per-material basis by way of an EMFFIX card (for electrons). Try reducing it progressively to 0.05, 0.01, 0.001: you should witness the artifacts wash out.
