Too Many Parenthesis

Dear FLUKA Experts,
I’m running a simulation (file.flair (13.5 KB)) which has no errors in the geometry But a receive the message;
*** Too many terms in parenthesis expansion ***
*** Execution terminated ***
I guess it’s because of the definitions in the ‘Gas_Sen’ and ‘Gas_Mult’ regions? I tried the “Optimize” Option but it didn’t work.
I’ll be delighted if someone could help me resolve this issue.

Did you first “Expand” the problematic region as mentioned in these previous threads?

Geometry viewer performance

Dear experts, I m currently running fluka on a fedora sysytem ,i m wondering if there is something i can do to make my geometry viewer works better, i mean when i try to rotate the mode i build ,it always takes a lot of time before i can get a clear viewpoint. Can i somehow make the geo viewer work faster?

Dear @raksha, The termination error is due to the fact Fluka tries to expand the parenthesis runtime but fails. This regardless of the correctness of the geometry definition, i.e. there might not be error in the definition, but the runtime expansions of the parenthesis gets too many terms and Fluka cannot handle it. You can try to expand the parenthesis in Flair before running, in the “Geometry” tab, in the “Region” section of the ribbon, with the option “Expand”, I’m not sure what you are ref…

This solved my Problem. Just by expanding the regions and readjusting the expressions. Thanks a billion times
