Description

We experimentally investigate the photoproduction of 7Be from 14N and 16O nuclei in range of gamma radiation 28-70MeV. For this I’m using PRECISIO default. Is it suitable model for described calculations ?

You need the PHOTONUC card to activate photo-nuclear reactions, and possibly LAM-BIAS to improve their statistics. Moreover, DEFAULT/PRECISIOn sets excessively low EM thresholds, which take CPU time without serving your purpose. Raise them by means of EMFCUT.

I’ve activated both of cards PHOTONUC and LAM-BIAS. At this case should I anyway use EMFCUT ?

Yes, not to waste CPU time by tracking EM particles down to pointlessly low energies.
