About settings of BIN-SOUR in activated target radiation dose rate calculation

Dear experts,
I m trying to calculate radiation dose rate caused by a Mo100 target activated by 22MeV proton, the problem is how to use BIN-SOUR card. I have looked through the discussion about the BIN-SOUR, but I still have some questions. How to set BEAM card, I want to calculate the dose of all the isotopes produced, so the particle type is not single (includes neutron/photon).
Also, I would like to know the BEAMPOS card setting for sure, if I input the coordinate, fluka would put the sou-bin centered the coordinate, right? And the direction of the BIN-SOUR, how to set to isotropic.
Here are the input files I USE.BIN-SOUR is used to calculate the BIN source. Open is used to calculate the radiation dose rate.
Looking forward to your kind help!
Cheers!

Dear Sean,

Many thanks for your question.
With FLUKA there is typically no need to run a two-step simulation to estimate residual dose rates and residual activity: you can add a DOSE-EQ scoring (+DCYSCORE) in the input file.
You can have a look at the FLUKA manual or at the FLUKA lectures on activation.

Just a few comments on your input file. You don’t really need MUPHOTON for 22 MeV protons. On the contrary, COALESCENCE must be activated for reliable results.

Cheers,
Davide
