Calculation of Max Z and Max M parameters of resnuclei card

Dear all,

I am working on the design of a beam dump for 20 MeV electron beam. I want to calculate the residual radioactive products. Kindly some one guide me, how to set the parameters Z and M of resnuclei card. I have seen the method given in manual M=N-Z-NMZ, but unable to understand. Also in which form I will get the results of resnuclei card.

Dear Anum,

you can keep those parameters empty. FLUKA will set the appropriate numbers according to the region’s material. (Note: In the case of a heavy ion beam the Max Z parameter may need to be set manually.)
