Charge-exchange reactions in FLUKA: 40 GeV pion beam on nuclei, eta and eta' production

Dear colleagues,
I contact you to ask if, in FLUKA, the charge-exchange reaction initiated by a 40 GeV pi- beam impinging on a heavy nuclei, resulting to the production of a neutral pseudo-scalar meson, is included in the list of processes that are simulated:

\pi^- p \rightarrow \eta (\eta^\prime) n

where p is a proton inside the nuclei and n is the recoiling neutron, taking almost no energy (the reaction is strongly peaked at very low |t|).

Thanks,
Bests,
Andrea

Dear Andrea,
the charge exchange reaction mechanism is indeed included in pion interactions.
But isn’t N in your notation rather referring to a nucleon in the considered heavy nucleus?

Dear Francesco,
indeed, my bad! Thanks for your answer, I modified my question to have the correct formula.
