Dose equivalent rate vs shielding thickness

I now want to plot the dose equivalent rate vs the shielding thickness, so I just want to make sure I do things the right way.
Am I correct to take the estimate of H*(10) (score in X-Y-Z) from the dose equivalent rate map, just outside the shielding to construct the plot, or there is better way to achieve it?

Thanks for assistance in advance

Hello, yes this is correct. You may want to consider averaging over a certain volume outside of the shielding depending on what you want to study (size of detectors for comparison with measurements or size of human body for dose estimates to persons). Moreover, H*10 is a conservative estimate of effective dose which you could also score directly.
