Hello to all,
I am in need of an advice: I am trying to have the dose desposition per event in several regions.
The problem is that the output file gets too big and the simulations are killed in my intitute’s cluster.
I am trying print the results of this simulations directly in a histogram ( sort of a lineal energy histogram).
Question: Is there any way to print the results of eventbin in a histogram during the simulations and get the histogram as an output?
(If you have any other idea to bypass this problem, please share)

did you try using the DETECT estimator to score energy deposition and convert the result to dose?

The problem is that I have 64 regions to score… Detect, to the best of my knowledge is lmited to 20 cards per simulation, correct?

the next release of FLUKA will increase the allowed maximum number of DETECT scorings to 100. It should be available in the coming weeks.
