I want to know the number of Proton and Triton particles generated within my defined detector geometry. Input files screenshots are attached, Kindly tell whether I am approaching the problem correctly.
I have just started learning FLUKA-Flair.
I am facing problems in finding the particle fluenece and energy distribution of Proton and Triton inside my detector geometry, I have also attached screenshot regarding the errors I am facing while plotting the USRBIN
Dear @Arkaprabha ,
It seems that you want to estimate the sensitivity of He-3 detector. So, you can score the number of protons or 3H particles. I find that you have already used RESNUCLEi card for estimating the same. Instead of “low energy” neutrons, you select “All” in the drop down menu “Type”.
Further I find that you want to score the neutron fluence using “USRTRACK” detector, but you have kept the Emin and Emax values blank. You need to put these values along with the number of bins. Put a name to the detector as this one is missing too.
Hope this will help.

Thank You Sir for your help. I have used The Resnuclei Card with ‘Type= All’ and plotted A. I have attached the graph . Where I believe the Y axis represents are number of secondaries/neutron which for my case is Proton and Triton. Therefore this number is my sensitivity. This problem is sorted .
Sir I have also plotted the neutron energy with specified Emin and Emax as you suggested and i am getting the desired result. I have attached the graph . But Sir I am not able to understand what the x axis and what the Y axis are representing . is the x-axis is 1/ev or ev? and is the Y axis telling the neutron fluence?
Dear @Arkaprabha,
It is good to know that you are now getting desired results. If you are using USRTRACK data for plotting, the x-axis represents energy (Default unit: GeV). The Y axis represents the fluence in units of neutron/cm2/GeV/primary, if you are scoring neutron fluence inside the detector.
You may consult the manual. I am putting the link once again.
