Sometimes, on certain setups, Flair initiates the run but does not show any progress. The simulation is actually running in the background. I have attached all input files, a screenshot from Flair, and the contents of one of the running simulation folders with all logs. The same Flair installation works fine with other types of .inp files, so I suspect the issue lies in this particular setup, but I cannot understand what exactly is causing it.
Could you also include your fortran source? FLUKA executables are not portable so it is not possible to run the one you attached.
Also, please note that it seems your source it at the edge of the black hole region. We advise that you shift it a little bit to your simulation volume so it is less ambiguous for FLUKA. This could also be the reason why the simulation is stuck. Have you also tried running with fewer primaries? It could be that with 10^8 primaries the progress is so slow that Flair does not have time to update. Reduce this number so it finishes in a few minutes or seconds.
Hello, and thanks for the answer. Attached source.f . I must underline - the simulation actually runs ok. All files are produced correctly. It’s just Flair does not show any progress (so basically this is just a matter of inconvenience because I need to manually check the file progress).
No, flair is used locally. I have updated it to the latest too. So ok, I guess the reinstalling the only option then. Did that inp file ran ok for you ? (if you have tried it) . Thank you,
