Dear FLUKA users,
We hope this message finds you well.
It is our pleasure to announce that the registration is open for the upcoming FLUKA Beginners’ Online Training, taking place during the workday mornings of May 31 - June 11 (UTC+2/CEST), from 8h-12h:
The registration section of this page will remain operational from today (April 7, 2020) until the available places (40 participants + a few slots in a waiting list) are filled.
This online training (for which Zoom will be used) will consist of a series of lectures and exercises, carefully crafted to allow a novice user to master the basic operation of FLUKA and its powerful graphical user interface Flair. A tentative timetable is available in the aforementioned event page.
It will be assumed that participants are registered FLUKA users at https://fluka.cern/ and have installed the latest released version of both FLUKA (4.1.1 from https://fluka.cern) and Flair (3.1-10 from https://flair.cern) in their machines. No installation support will be provided during the online training. Meanwhile, technical questions can be addressed in this Forum.
A fee of 100 CHF will be requested, with an additional fee of 400 CHF for commercial users (500 CHF total). Note that the registration is a two-step process: you will first receive an automatic e-mail acknowledging the initiation of your registration; then, after approval, you will receive a second automatic e-mail to proceed to the fee payment
(see the event page for more details). Registrations can only be considered complete after the fee payment (or proof thereof) has been received. After reception of the first automatic email, two weeks time is given to complete the fee payment. If not completed, the registration shall be dropped to give other participants from the waiting list a chance to participate.

Thank you for your sustained interest in the FLUKA Online Training.
