FLUKA USRBIN NET-CHRG not working

Hi all,

I used the USRBIN many times with NET-CHRG however I cannot figure out why it does not work in this instance. I defined some custom materials which work fine in the simulation, however, while using the USRBIN NET-CHRG I keep getting the following error:

*** Activity/fission/neutron balance binnings cannot be track-length!!!

I am not measuring any of these parameters e.g. activity or neutrons so I am not sure why this error comes up. I tried changing the USRBIN to use regions instead, without any difference.

I am simulating an electron beam of approximately 7 MeV directed into a material Ga2O3. Perhaps other particles are generated which are positive and this interferes? But the issue is using the AUXSCORE I even limit the USRBIN to only look at the electrons.

I attached the .inp file for reference.

Thanks again,
Electron_ga2o3_01 (2).inp (4.7 KB)

Dear Arpad,

for NET-CHRG, you need to set the type of the USRBIN scoring to X-Y-Z point (or other point type).
For details see: 7.22.89. USRBIN — FLUKA Manual

Cheers,
David
