Dear all,
I hope you are fine.I had recently installed the latest fluka Linux/Ubuntu and I am facing some problem with the execution of flair. When running the input, i get this error massage.
*** The following file(s) cannot be found: brems_fin.bin ***
*** Are you sure you downloaded the fluka20xx.y-data.tar.gz file? ***
*** Execution terminated ***
ken &' sh: -c: line 0: flair --help | grep -i version >>& .flair.check’
the error message indicates that you are not running the FLUKA (4-5.0) version supported on this forum together with the respective Flair (3.4-0) version.
Thank you for your reply. If you could guide me how to completely remove older version of fluke. So that , I can install FLUKA (4-5.0) version supported on this forum together with the respective [Flair (3.4-0) version.
Regards
Thank you,
I am also a new user of Linux, so I would appreciate if you could elaborate like specific commands for removal of older version and installation of new one.
Not knowing exactly how you installed a program, it is impossible to provide you with a command.
Additionally, this forum is dedicated to Fluka therefore, teaching linux is out of its scope.
I recommend you to search online for some basic linux tutorial.
As an example, you could consider this one or this one. Also, keep in mind that you do not need necessarily to follow an entire tutorial, but just the parts that are relevant for your purposes (probably the first part).
