We are recruiting a
Radiation Protection Physicist
to join the CERN HSE Radiation Protection Group, supporting the operation and upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider during Long Shutdown 3, preparing for the new era of the High-Luminosity LHC
You will carry out radiation protection studies using FLUKA Monte Carlo simulations, assess residual radiation levels, support on site activities, and contribute to technical documentation and project discussions in a highly international environment.

Early Career Graduate:
For Bachelor or Master graduates with up to two years of experience, seeking to build expertise in radiation physics and accelerator related applications.

Experienced Graduate:
For Master or PhD graduates with two to six years of experience, ready to lead complex studies and contribute at a strategic level.
A background in radiation physics/protection, interest or experience with Monte Carlo codes (preferably FLUKA), and programming skills are expected.
