How to create a custom beam model in the RTPlan of flair

Dear FLUKA Users and Experts!
I am using FLUKA simulated dose and TPS dose for verification (photons). Now I encounter a problem that MU (monitor units) cannot be converted to NP(number of particles). I don’t know how to create a custom beam model in the RTPlan of flair that converts the MU to NP.
Please experts to help introduce how I should operate.

Thank you very much.
Chailin

Dear Chai,

the photon beams from RTPlans are not implemented. If you want to simulate such plan, you need to manually set up the beams and collimators in the FLUKA geometry.

Cheers,
David

Dear @horvathd
Thanks for you answer. Since I have’t simulate similar dose verification before, I don’t know how to manually set up beam and collimators in the FLUKA geometry. Are there any explanations or example of this setting on our official website or learning website.
Look forward to you reply.

Cheers,
Chailin

Dear Chailin,

you simply need to use the standard source (BEAM, BEAMPOS, etc.) and geometry cards to build around the Voxel phantom.

Cheers,
David
