Description

Dear FLUKA experts:
I am learning how to use the special usrbin, and the link below provides a great example. However, since the post is too old, it has been locked. But I still have some questions about its content. https://fluka-forum.web.cern.ch/t/questions-about-the-cosmic-ray-simulation/7739
The issue is that after running the original author’s provided user routine with the inp file, I obtained let001_fort.52. However, this file cannot be used to generate a 2D usrbin plot using either the path Run > Data > Process > Plot > OZ > Plot in flair or the tool usxscuw. (As shown in the two screenshots.)
I have included the corrected user routine from the original post in the attachment.
I hope to receive your response. Thank you very much.
Best regards
Yongce Gong,

Input files

comscw.f (810 Bytes)

let.inp (1.6 KB)

musrbr.f (1.4 KB)

lusrbl.f (1.2 KB)

fusrbv.f (1.2 KB)

Dear Yongce,

Your screenshots indicate that you are not using the FLUKA version released by CERN. Please try with the latest release from https://fluka.cern/

Chees,
David

Dear David
Actually, I was indeed using the CERN version of FLUKA, but I forgot to switch my FLAIR to the CERN version as well. Now that I have reinstalled FLAIR to the CERN version, you can see from the screenshot I uploaded that the same issue still occurs.

   Thanks for your reply

Best wishes,
Yongce,

Dear @chenjianqi

as the message suggests you are using the special type of USRBIN with a custom scoring routines and (more than 1bin in the last variable). So flair doesn’t know how to plot it.

Flair can only plot the Special type as 1D for the 1st variable
and 2D overlaid on top of a geometry plot if the first variable corresponds to the region
