Dear Fluka experts,
I’m installing Fluka following the ‘INSTALL’, but I’m not sure if it’s finally successfully installed.
Here is what I did:
-
download the binary package fluka-4-3.1.x86-Linux-gfor7.tgz
-
uncompress and make in the src/ directory, with gcc version 7.3.0
Then I got the following message:
log.install.txt (13.5 KB)
Is this a successfully installation? Or there is a problem?
Thanks very much in advance!
Best,
Yongke

Dear Yongke,
the log file looks normal to me. The last step is – if you didn’t already do it – to add the directory of FLUKA to your $PATH environment variable. (See Installing FLUKA on GNU/Linux or macOS (.tgz packages) | The official CERN FLUKA website, section Environment variables)
After that you can try to run a test simulation to see if it works.
Cheers,
David

Dear David,
Thanks very much for your reply!
I will set the PATH (or alias) then try to run my first Fluka test.
Cheers,
Yongke
