Latitude implementation in cosmic rays simulations

Thank you, that seemed to work.

I was wondering if you knew at all how latitude is input (eg. is the equator 0 degrees or 90). When I ran it, I input -90 for my value of latitude and 0.5 GeV for geomagnetic cutoff acceptance, and as far as I can tell it did not create any extra files. are these parameters acceptable?

Dear @james.bowers ,

In principle those parameters could be used. When using the atmloc.f, by selecting “Geographic coordinates” you can provide latitude/longitude in degrees. The routine will create atmloc.geo, atmlocmat.cards, atmloc.sur which you can include in the inp via the GEOBEGIN (for the .geo) and #include cards.

Cheers,

Angelo
