Lower energy limit that fluka can simulate

Dear experts,
In my simulation, I set the electron beam energy at 4MeV to hit an aluminum plate. Everything goes well.

The results of detector bdx1 and bdx2 are 1.0 and 3.91E-02,respectively.

I’d like to see the result of 10keV electrons,so I set the beam card like this:
04

But the result of usrbin is not as expected:

In addition, results of detector bdx1 and bdx2 are 1.0 and 0, respectively.

Waht’s the reason for the latter? Is there a lower energy limit that fluka can simulate?

The default cutoff for electrons is either 1 MeV or 100 keV (the latter with PRECISIOn DEFAULTS).
For a 10 keV electron beam, you have to lower it by means of the EMFCUT card, going down to the hard limit of 1 keV (FLUKA cannot go lower).

OK,I am going to read it. Thanks for reply.

Kind regards,
