Description

Since I am simulating 3.2 million 0.7GeV electrons with position information from the phase-space file. I am wonderting that should the number of events in the START card shoule be larger than 3.2 milion to ensure that every electron in the phase-space file would be simulated? Since the phase space file is read sequentially, what is the relationship with the he number of events in the START, the number of cycles and the spawn?

Dear Jia,

In case of the sequential mode, you need to specifiy a larger number of primaries than you have in the space-phase file. This way FLUKA will stop when it reaches the end of the file.

If you start with a number of primaries which is less, then FLUKA stops at the requested number of events.
