Description

Dear Daniele:

I update the FLUKA version to the latest one. But but the energy gain calculated by FLUKA is still inconsistent with theoretical results.

Hi Long,

I get correct results when simulating with the new FLUKA version. Could you send me the:

  1. .flair file
  2. .out file that is produced at the end of the simulation

This way I can check if there is somehting wrong with the patch we released.

Hi Long,

Indeed, I noticed the incorrect behaviour. We believed we had patched it in the current release, but our checks were mostly focused on electrons and positrons.

We worked on it and have now fixed the behaviour for all other particles as well. This hotfix will be distributed in the next FLUKA release.

We will contact you personally for testing a beta-version package with the full patch included.
