Description
Dear FLUKA experts,
We are conducting a simulation of a boron-loaded scintillator irradiated by a neutron beam. The relevant nuclear reaction is: n + ¹⁰B → ⁴He + ⁷Li. We aim to investigate the spatial distribution of neutron capture events after 0, 1, 2, 3, … scattering events. Currently, the only method we know is to monitor variations in their coordinates. Is there a better way to achieve this?
Another question is why the newly generated neutrons exhibit higher energy when neutrons react with boron, as observed? Below is the definition provided in my .f file.
