Neutron through 5 mm of Glass plate

For neutron of beam energy 350 KeV when incident on 5 mm of glass plate, ~1 particle per primary is coming out of the other end of glass plate as detected by USRBDX card.
I’m a beginner and the result seems wrong to me as some neutrons must back scatter. Any guidance will be greatly helpful to me.

Thank You.

Dear Dibi,

you are getting a number higher than 1, because you are scoring fluence instead of current. See slide 2 of

Also, I would suggest to use the DEFAULTS PRECISIO instead of NEUTRONS to profit from the pointwise low-energy neutron corss sections and use the EMF card with the option OFF to disable the EM transport.

Cheers,
David

Thank you, Dávid. I got around ~0.86, which is reasonable. I also figured out why you suggested turning off the EMF card and using the DEFAULTS PRECISIO option.

Best regards,
Dibi
