Dear Fluka Specialists!

I am new to Fluka, so I would appreciate your understanding and help in detecting and solving an error that I

faced while simulating the experimental conditions for research of precise particle identification in the context of proton-boron fusion reactions. The study focuses on the intricate interplay of charged particles generated during proton-boron fusion, and separation of reaction products. That is, the main task is to plot LET spectra of backscattered protons as well as reaction products - alpha particles in the detector’s sensitive layer.

For this purpose, I am trying to simulate one of the setups of our experiment: proton beam with an energy of 2.5 MeV flies through a layer of air (7.5 mm), collides with a boron target located at an angle of 45 degrees to the beam, the reaction products are detected by the detector located directly under the target. Based on the user guide and manual, I created an input file .inp, but unfortunately an error occurred “**** No/unknown default specified, run stopped ****”. I tried to fix it myself, consulted similar topics on the forum, compared my source file with examples on the official Fluke website, but unfortunately, to no avail.

I would be very grateful if you could look at what my error might be, and I would be grateful for any recommendations and comments regarding the syntax or other errors in my input file. I attach the schemes with the geometry of the experiment, input, output and err files.

You put the PRECISIO string in the wrong place of the DEFAULTS card. To avoid such format errors, which affect all your input file, you are strongly encouraged to use Flair. Note that the geometry part of the input, between GEOBEGIN and GEOEND, cannot contain other cards as ASSIGNMA, ROT-DEFI and COMPOUND. Moreover, your PHYSICS card contains an unknown string and the ROT-ASSIGN card (?) does not exist.
