Hello experts! There doesn’t seem to be any CO-60 in the spectrum, right?why?
NaI-muenergy.inp (2.6 KB)
When I change the particle to BA-133, it doesn’t work either. But just Co60, it works
Dear @fengfengxu,
you can only get one isotope if you are using the preprocessors, see explanation from slide 24 in the lecture:
Cheers,
David
Hello, Mr. David, the post I refer to is “Multiple isotope source in a single input”(Multiple isotope source in a single input).
Sir, I’m sorry, but I didn’t understand the notes. That means that isotopes can only be set one at a time?
In fact, the energy spectrum shows two isotopes(Na22 Cs137), except for Co60
Dear @fengfengxu,
it means that only one isotope can be simulated at a time. The isotope is selected based on which #define
card is active. See slide 21:
The spectrum you are getting is coming only from Na-22. You can verify this using an USRBDX
card scoring PHOTONS
from VOID
to TARGET3
. It will show only one energy at ~ 1275 keV.
Cheers,
David
Thanks to you, Mr. David, I have learned many new methods!
