I’m a beginner with flair and I’m trying to generate a photons beam typical of diagnostics to measure the dose in air and in a phantom, can anyone help me understand how to do it?

I suggest you to start by looking at the slides from the last beginners’ course, particularly at the lectures on the basic input and on the simple source.
There you will find enough info to define a simple beam.
Additionally, have you been able to solve the installation problem Geometry viewer FLAIR ? You never got back to @Mihaela_Parvu .
