Possible issue with new neutron librairies about water

Dear Fluka experts,

My colleagues from IT group have just installed on our HPC cluster the last update of FLUKA 4-5.2 and the corresponding new neutron librairies available.

I just tried with the flair basic input to test the installation. Running 3 GeV electron impacting a cylindrical target of different materials (Iron, Copper and Aluminum). With Photonuc “on”, LAM-Bias and Low-PWXS “on” too, and JEFF4.0 selected.

Using std “fluka” executable, etherything seems ok. After swapping target material to water it crashed!?!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jean-Baptiste,

Currently the thermal scattering laws are only available in the JEFF-3.3 package, and it is needed for the water bound hydrogen.

You still can use JEFF-4.0 similarly to the solution in
