Question about calculation of dose distribution from decay of multiple radioactive isotope sources

Versions

FLUKA:4-5.2
Flair:3.4-5.4

Description

Dear fluka experts,

I use source_newgen.f to add Co-60, Cs-137, Am-241 and Tc-99m nuclides for dose calculation, and they are isotropic distribution. Based on their activity ratios, randomly sample one nuclide to compute its dose distribution, then multiple by the total activity to obtain the cumulative dose from all nuclides. I use “ldpmqmd” program to compile the source_newgen.f and it compiled successfully. However, I encountered a problem, when running the compiled code it stucked, the .log file in fluka_xxxx folder shows error messages in the following lines:

At line 145 of file cascade/dcdion.f
Fortran runtime error: Index ‘60’ of dimension 1 of array ‘icheav’ above upper bound of 40

I have no idea what the problem is and I cannot find the file cascade/dcdion.f in fluka4-5.2 folder.

I have attatched my source_newgen.f and input files in the attachment, any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Dear Zhefu,

In the source routine, the isomer number should be a positive number, so for Tc-99m, you should use 1 instead of -1.
