Simulate a neutron beam

I would like to simulate a 4 MeV neutron beam hitting my apparatus. In particular I would like to get the proton recoil spectrum from neutron hitting a polyethylene sheet.
As DEFAULTS, should I use PRECISIO or NEUTRONS ?
I mede two simulations with these two setting and I get very different results in terms of energy spectrum of recoil protons and gammas.
From the manual I understood that the physics simulated by NEUTRONS in also included in PRRECISION.

PRECISIO (with NEUTRONS no proper transport of protons/gammas applies) and especially add an empty LOW-PWXS card, after installing the point-wise neutron libraries.
