Dear FLUKA Experts,

We would like to score the energy deposited in the scintillator. For the reaction n+10B→4He+7Li (accompanied by gamma radiation), we have already obtained the energy of the reaction products (i.e., 4He, 7Li, and gamma rays) respectively. However, these energies are not the energy deposited in the scintillator itself.

Could you please advise us on the methods to record the energy deposited in the scintillator for this reaction?

Happy New Year! I see that you have already implemented some USRBIN cards, so I understand that you are mainly interested in event-by-event scoring.

For your application, I would say that the most effective card is DETECT, which allows event-by-event energy deposition scoring in the region of interest. It also supports coincidence and anticoincidence capabilities, making it quite versatile. Unfortunately, it does not allow logarithmic binning of the energy range.
