Dear Fluka team and experts

While using source_newgen.f routine, I get an error message as follow:

STOP Unable to open spectrum file (from .log file)

Abort called from sample_spectrum reason Unable to open spectrum file Run stopped! STOP Unable to open spectrum file (from .err file)

It seems strange because with same input (almost) I was able to run and use source routine by combination with a quite huge source spectrum file.

Here, the spectrum file is quite small (2 kB) sdc6p5em8.txt.dat (2.0 KB) and except the name set into the routine, nothing has changed.

I can also add that spectrum file, source routine, input/flair and fluka exe are in the same directory.

Joined are both the spectrum file and source routine. (input and .flair files are quite huge. But if necessary I can send it in a direct email).

Hi Jean-Baptiste!

In the source routine you have only "sdc6p5em8" for the file. Could it be that you are just missing the file extension?

Thank you very much for your help! Of course I was not sure of that but I was almost expecting such a careless mistake from I.

Source routine duly corrected and relinked with Fluka exe and it works now!
