Understanding how to request isomer utilizing the HI-PROPE

Dear experts and colleagues,

I would like to seek your expertise regarding the exclusive use of the 116-m isotope of Indium. Specifically, I am interested in understanding how we can request the 116-m isotope utilizing the HI-PROPE card.

Thank you for your kind assistance.

Dear Mohamed,

The Manual entry for HI-PROPE states that a negative WHAT(3) can be used to access isomeric states.

In this case, you are interested in the first isomeric state of In-116, so your WHAT(3) should be equal to -1.

Cheers
Philippe

Dear Philippe Schoofs,

I want to express my sincere gratitude for your valuable advice. It greatly assisted me in my simulations, and I found it very helpful. You were correct in pointing out that the information I needed could be found in the manual. However, it wasn’t immediately clear to me that it should take a value of “-1” for the first isomeric state of In-116, especially considering the example provided wasn’t explicit about isomeric nuclei. Once again, I appreciate your tremendous help, which has significantly benefited me.
Warm regards,
Mohamed.fayez
