Description
I am simulating the proton Bragg peak for all energies from 70β220 MeV. After running the simulation, I plotted the data points and I would like to know what the values in the last column of the output file represent. What are the units?
If I want to calculate the total uncertainty , do I need to perform additional calculations (e.g., multiply by something), or can I directly use the values from the simulation results as they are? Also, what unit are those results expressed in?
For reference, my acceptance criterion is an uncertainty of 0.5.Please describe the issue. In case of reporting a bug, please provide step-by-step instructions for reproducing the error.

Dear Jirathat,
The values in the last column are the relative statistical error in percent. To obtain the total error, you need to divide the value of the fourth column by 100 and multiply it with the value in the third column.
The units of the value in the third column depend on the selected way of scoring in your input file, which I therefore would ask you to upload. If you are scoring ENERGY
, the output is given in GeV/cm^3 per primary.
For a deeper understanding, I would recommend you to look into the slides of the latest FLUKA beginners course , where scoring methods in FLUKA are discussed in detail.

Hello Barbara,
Please find my setting file attached. Currently, I have set the particle count to 200K for an energy of 100 MeV. After running the simulation, I plotted the 1D projection and selected the line type, which generated the .dat file attached.
E1102_MC57.dat (73.9 KB) I will try to divide the value of the fourth column by 100 and multiply it with the value in the third column then try to understand it.
Could you kindly review the settings and output? If you have any questions or suggestions for improvement, please feel free to let me know anytime.
