USRYIELD not yielding!

Hello everyone!

I am working with the cosmic rays example provided in the FLUKA installation. I am interested in measuring neutrino fluxes, for what I am using USRYIELD with the following configuration

However, I obtain the following error:

WARNING: No input data found for ‘shortrun/yeld_21.yie’
Error processing: shortrun/yeld_21.yie
Ended: 2024.11.14 14:49:49

I have un-discarded neutrinos, using the appropiate DISCARD card, and I also allow them to interact, using the PHYSICS card with NEUTRINO SDUM. I can get some neutrino fluence using USRBDX, so neutrinos are there, but my USRYIELD seems to not work. How can I correct it?

Hi Pablo,
I believe that your USRYIELD problem is due to the fact that you did not input the Max2 value, where default is not admitted (based on your choice, you need there a sensible time value).
Also, note that no neutrino interaction will take place, since this can only be a forced primary event (in view of its tiny cross section), when a neutrino beam is selected.
