FIX? Run aborts with STOP 3500?

Dear FLUKA experts:

Are STOP 3500?? and STOP 2500 crashes fixed in the 4.1.1 version or the latest version 4.2.0?
As reported in https://fluka-forum.web.cern.ch/t/run-aborts-with-stop-3500/1144/4
I am using 4.1.0, and 2 out of 10 run successfully.
Is there something we can do to fix this problem within the version 4.1.0?

Best regards,
honghu

Hallo,
as anticipated in the post you quote, these have been already fixed with the minor release 4.1.1, and so they are with the major release 4.2.0 too. It’s not clear why you keep using an older version made obsolete by new ones: it’s highly recommended to move as promptly as possible to the latest version, which is meant to be the best one and is normally renewed few times per year, namely at a not disrupting pace. Every new - minor or major - release regularly contains previous problem fixing, as detailed in the respective release notes.

By definition of minor release, 4.1.1 is the 4.1.0 after bug fixing, but there is no reason not to use 4.2.0 now.

Best

Thanks for your quick reply. Will update to the latest version.
