Dear FLUKA experts,
I’m practicing the replication of a geometry consist of two different regions in order to continue with more complex geometry. I went through that procedure step by step, starting by cloning the bodies of regions of interest, then transfer them by including ($start_transform - $end_transform), then creating a two empty regions for the first replica, then displace them using ROT-DEFI.
By selecting Lattice layer on the Geometry tab, I can’t see the replica filled with the original material unfortunately.
And what increase my confusion is that, when I change the Id: number from the ROT-DEFI card, the empty replica changes its location, which I can’t understand as well, as according to what I have read in the manual that this Id: its only a transformation index and not responsible for any displacement like Δx, Δy and Δz.
I found some examples in this forum where the replication is done only by LATTICE and ROT-DEFI cards without using $start_transform and $end_transform, in this case. and I have tried that and didn’t work as well.
Beside the main problem that I described above and I’m looking for your help in it, I been left with a reasonable questions: do I have to add ($start_transform - $end_transform) in my geometry? do I have to create a ($start_transform - $end_transform) for each replica?
Much appreciated your guidance!
Regards,
Nabeel
